Accountant
We are looking for an experienced accountant to join our growing team at our Llandrindod Wells office. The position is full time, working 35 hours per week.
Our ideal candidate would be either Qualified ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience and looking to advance their career through managing their own client portfolio.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Preparation of annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Compliance tax work in respect of individuals, partnerships and limited companies
- Reviewing the work of other staff
- Assisting in providing advice to clients
- Assisting with the day to day management of client relationships
Experience/Qualifications
- Experience within an accountancy practice (Required)
- Accounting qualifications such as ACA/ACCA or an individual who can demonstrate these skills and attributes through being qualified by experience (Required)
- Excellent IT Skills (Experience with specialist accounting software such as Sage or Xero would also be an advantage)
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional and motivated
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Driving Licence (Preferred)

Accounts Assistant
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual wanting to take the next steps in their Accountancy career at our Llandrindod Wells office. We would expect great attention to detail, a willingness to learn and a wonderful ‘can-do’ attitude. Our business is all about win:win. We want to give you as much as you give us. We make it a priority to ensure all our team have the best possible package that includes holidays, flexible work hours, work environment, and training to name but a few.
So if you are looking to move forward in your Accountancy career, we would like to hear from you. We work with a huge variety of businesses, so we’re after someone who is eager to learn and loves to get their teeth into a challenge!
Duties could include:
· Processing regular bookkeeping jobs to a high standard;
· VAT return preparation;
· Assisting with the preparation of annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies;
· Assisting with the preparation of personal tax returns;
· Client interaction on a regular basis;
· Office administration duties as required and a whole host more!
Experience required:
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C and above (Required)
- Experience within a financial role (Required)
- Accounting Qualifications such as AAT (Preferred)
- Excellent IT Skills (Experience with specialist accounting software such as Sage or Xero would also be an advantage)
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional and motivated
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Driving Licence (Preferred)

Administrative Assistant (Maternity Cover)
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual wanting to take the next steps in their career at our Llandrindod Wells office. Working within our business support team they will be providing support to our accounts team as well as being the first point of contact for clients via the phone or face to face.
Duties could include:
- Answering and directing telephone calls from clients and colleagues
- Maintaining digital and hard copy storage systems
- Data entry
- Creation of reports
- Carrying out Firm approved policies and procedures
Working with a team on a shared workload that includes:
- Supporting our accounting teams with administrative tasks
- Sending, receiving and recording internal and external communications
- Completing and filing official government forms to deadlines
Experience required:
- Administrative experience
- Excellent IT Skills (Including CRM software and Microsoft applications)
- Experience within a office environment
- Experience of independent working as part of a team
- GCSE English at Grade C or above
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional and motivated
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
